2 Killed, 12 Wounded In Shootings Since Wednesday Morning

The most recent fatal shooting happened about 2 a.m. Thursday at an Austin neighborhood gas station on the West Side. A 20-year-old man was outside the station in the 100 block of South Cicero when someone walked up and shot him multiple times, police said.

Six Wounded In Shootings On Thursday

A 16-year-old boy was wounded in the most recent shooting in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side. A gray or silver truck pulled up near the boy in the 1100 block of East 72nd Street, and a male inside fired shots.

In each robbery, police said, two men approach the victim, show a handgun and demand their property.

Two Men Charged With Fatal Shooting In Grand Boulevard

Terrell Monroe, 22, and Marcae Rogers, 32, were charged each with one count of first degree murder, police said. The shooting happened Friday about 2:50 p.m. in the 300 block of East 47th Street. David Drayton, 23, was shot in the upper body and leg, police said.
