About 9 p.m., Antwone J. Price was in a home in the 7400 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue when a family member accidentally shot him in the abdomen, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
The fatal shooting happened about 11:40 p.m. in the North Lawndale neighborhood. A 14-year-old boy was standing on the front porch of a home in the 1300 block of South Kostner with a two other people, when a car drove by and someone inside opened fire. The boy was shot in the back and later pronounced dead, police said.
Police said officers pulled over a Pontiac Bonneville for a routine traffic stop around 7:30 p.m. in the 7500 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue. The 26-year-old man behind the wheel allegedly sped away after the officers got out of their squad car.

The latest shooting happened about 9:50 p.m. in West Englewood, where a 19-year-old man was walking in the 1700 block of West 61st Place when he heard gunshots and realized he’d been struck in the leg, police said.
Most recently, a man was shot to death early Monday in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said. About 4:30 a.m., the 21-year-old was a passenger in a vehicle in the 2400 block of South Sawyer when someone fired shots from the sidewalk, striking him in the chest, police said.

A 16-year-old boy was shot to death and a 17-year-old boy was seriously wounded in a South Chicago shooting Monday evening. The two were standing outside in the 7900 block of South Merrill Avenue about 5:30 p.m. when a red vehicle pulled up and a male got out and shot them, police said.

Two men were standing on the corner at 79th Street and Eberhart Avenue just after 11 p.m. when someone fired shots, police said.
About 4:30 p.m., a male followed the girl into an elevator in her building, located in the 6300 block of South Calumet Avenue, according to an alert from area detectives. He then pulled the girl into a stairwell and sexually assaulted her, police said. Her exact age was not disclosed.
