About 2 a.m., a 16-year-old boy was walking in the 5800 block of South Green Street when someone opened fire from a passing vehicle, police said.

4 Dead, 13 Wounded In Weekend Shootings

The most recent fatal shooting happened Sunday morning on the Near West Side. Shawn Holloway, 21, was shot in the side and back about 11 a.m. in the 2100 block of West Warren Boulevard, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Police have resumed searching for a man suspected of raping two women and a teenage girl in Washington Heights early Wednesday, and hiding in another girl’s closet, after determining a “person of interest” they were questioning was not responsible for the crimes.
