Chicago Police are responding to a possible hostage situation Friday afternoon in the North Side Rogers Park neighborhood.
The hostage situation began after police officers were sent to a building near Ashland Avenue and Hastings Street about 3:16 a.m., when they received a call about a domestic dispute.
Police in Schaumburg charged six people Thursday in connection with a five-hour standoff in which party-goers barricaded themselves inside an apartment and held one occupant against her will before SWAT officers forced their way in.
A five hour standoff is over in Oak Forest with nobody hurt.
