Indoor Smoking Ban
Earlier this year, the City Council voted to add e-cigarettes to the city’s indoor smoking ban, which prohibits smoking in bars, restaurants, and inside most other public buildings. Effective Tuesday, use of e-cigarettes has been added to that ban.
Smokers who’ve switched to electronic cigarettes will have to take their new habit outside with traditional smokers, after aldermen approved new limits on e-cigarettes on Wednesday.
Indiana is the latest state to ban indoor public smoking, starting this week.
