The man, 30, was sitting in a vehicle about 5:50 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Ingleside when a male approached and fired shots at him, police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said.
The man was shot in the back about 8:30 p.m. in the 8600 block of South Ingleside Avenue, police said. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in “grave” condition and later pronounced dead.
