A 15-year-old boy was shot while riding in a car early Saturday on Lake Shore Drive.
The 27-year-old was driving in the 4800 block of North Lake Shore Drive at 3:45 a.m. when he was shot, police said.
The outage occurred at 10:05 p.m. and affected the area between Michigan Avenue and Lake Shore Drive and between Wacker Drive and Monroe Street, ComEd spokeswoman Krissy Posey said. Approximately 1,600 customers were affected, although power was fully restored by 2:50 a.m. Thursday.
The 17-year-old boy was driving south in the 2100 block of South Lake Shore Drive about 10:15 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of the vehicle, which struck a tree and caught fire, police said.
