Police were warning people who use the Lakefront Trail in the Kenwood neighborhood to be cautious, after a string of robberies along the path.

Waves Prompt Warning For Lakefront Visitors, Beach Closures

Very strong winds from the north created high waves on on Lake Michigan on Tuesday, prompting the National Weather Service warn people to stay out of the lake and to be cautious on the Lakefront path and for a number of Chicago area beaches to close.

Jogger In Critical Condition After Dog Attack Along Lakefront

A man was critically injured Monday morning when he was attacked by what police described as two pit bulls while jogging along the lakefront in Rainbow Beach Park.

4 Youths Charged With Knocking Cyclist Off Bike, Robbing Him

Four youths have been charged with mugging a bicyclist on the Lakefront Path near 31st Street Wednesday night. The victim received 11 stitches to his head.
