Leaving The Scene Of An Accident
A 22-year-old man from Country Club Hills has been charged with several felonies, after fleeing the scene of a crash that killed two teenage passengers in Park Forest earlier this week.
Terrell Walker was crossing Ashland Avenue at 64th Street around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday to buy a sweet tea at McDonald’s, when he was struck by a car. The car never stopped. Paramedics took Walker to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died.
A West Side man was ordered held on a $75,000 bond Wednesday for allegedly running over and killing a woman with his sister’s car before fleeing the scene of the accident.
Daniel Gluckman, 34, is charged with one felony count each of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, aggravated fleeing and leaving the scene of an accident that caused injury, police said. He is also facing two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance.
A 36-year-old EMT arrested seven times in the past was ordered held on a $100,000 bond Friday after being charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident in the northwest suburbs earlier this week.
