he Illinois Lottery says the winning ticket for Thursday night’s Lotto drawing was sold in the lobby shop at 111 West Monroe.
The timing couldn’t have been better for a family from north suburban Geneva when they hit the jackpot after finding some old Lotto tickets stuffed in a cookie jar.
Saturday night was a lucky one for nine people throughout Illinois, each of whom matched all six numbers drawn in the Lotto and who will share the $3.75 million jackpot.
Illinois became a pioneer Sunday as the first state in the country to offer them online.
