Woman Gets 20 Years For Trying To Have Ex-Boyfriend KilledFriday night, Kane County Circuit Judge Susan Clancy Boles sentenced 28-year-old Maricela Arciga to 20 years in prison after a jury convicted her in July 2014 of solicitation of murder for hire, and solicitation of murder, each a Class X felony, according to the Kane County state’s attorney’s office.
Aurora Woman Convicted In Murder-For-Hire CaseOn Thursday, 12 Kane County jurors agreed that Maricela Arciga of Aurora wanted her ex-boyfriend dead, and that she paid a hit man to do it. That hit man was actually special agent David Gomez of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, who had been tipped-off about the murder for hire.
