White Sox Sweep Rangers Behind Quintana’s Strong Effort

Rookie Jose Quintana allowed two hits in eight stellar innings, Kevin Youkilis came through again with a go-ahead homer and the Chicago White Sox completed a three-game sweep of the Texas Rangers with a 2-1 victory Thursday.

Rangers Rally In 9th, Beat Cards To Even Series

Looking lost at the plate all game, Josh Hamilton and the Rangers suddenly resembled the team that bashed its way to Busch Stadium. They rallied for two runs in the ninth inning against the nearly spotless St. Louis bullpen, beat the Cardinals 2-1 Thursday night and evened things at 1-all.
