Curtis Glencross scored the winner in the third period and Miikka Kiprusoff turned aside 22 shots to lead the Calgary Flames to a 3-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
Despite Patrick Kane’s early injury against Calgary that took him out of the game, the Blackhawks still dominated the ice. Both teams scored their goals during the first period with the exception of Bolland’s goal just before the game’s end.
The Blackhawks have won eight of the last nine meetings with the Flames, but lost the last time they faced each other. Chicago is hoping to recover from a 3-0 loss to the Canucks Friday where the Hawks saw a Turco they weren’t used to.
