Noble Horse Theatre
The FBI has announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to the animal rights extremist or extremists who set fire to several carriages at an historic stable in the Old Town neighborhood in February.
On Feb. 6, firefighters responded to a horse stable fire in the 1400 block of North Sedgwick Street, according to Fire Media Affairs. Officials initially believe the fire to be accidental, but said Monday that it has been ruled arson. The investigation has been turned over to the FBI.
No horses or people were injured in the blaze, which was mostly contained to a garage and storage area away from where the horses are kept. The horses were not exposed to smoke or flames.
Apparently, this wasn’t the first time a horse was found roaming the streets of Old Town. On the same day last year, about a half dozen horses escaped from the Noble Horse Theatre.
