A man was shot and killed Tuesday night in a carjacking in the Ashburn neighborhood on the South Side.
The 16-year-old told police he was shot in the leg about 1:30 a.m. in the 5100 block of South Oakley Avenue.
A blue van pulled up alongside the 19-year-old man as he was walking in the 2200 block of South Oakley Avenue about 11:30 p.m. and someone from inside opened fire.
