Two men who stole a vehicle in the Pilsen neighborhood Tuesday night tried to escape police capture by driving away, but crashed into a squad car and pole instead, injuring themselves and an officer.
Chicago Police ran over an epileptic man with their squad car and left him underneath the vehicle as he had a seizure, calling for backup instead of helping him first, a newly filed federal lawsuit claims.
Police are questioning one person and seeking the second following a brief chase on the South Side in which an officer was injured.
