After a man whose license has been revoked seven times in the past was arrested for drunk driving for the fourth time last weekend, Riverside Police Chief Thomas Weitzel said it was the last straw.
Harrison District officers were escorting a woman to her vehicle in an alley after a domestic disturbance, but as they approached the vehicle they saw her boyfriend inside. He tried to drive away and the vehicle struck two officers, a fence and a building, police said.
