Suspect Charged In Romeoville Shooting Of Mom, Teen Daughter

Erick M. Maya, 23, of 5600 Park Avenue, Cicero, was charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated battery with a firearm and one count of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.

Cops Questioning 4 People In Romeoville Shooting

Romeoville Police Chief Mark Turvey said investigators haven’t yet determined a motive for the shooting of a 33-year-old woman and her 15-year-old daughter as they were getting ready to go to school.
