CDC Numbers Show Chicago Students Behind Peers In Vaccinations

Experts at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control say roughly 90 percent of children in Chicago have been vaccinated against measles, mumps and rubella.

New Vaccine Requirements For Illinois Students

Illinois requires students enrolling in school to be up-to-date on immunizations. Students enrolling in kindergarten for the first time in an Illinois school must have an eye exam by a licensed optometrist or a medical doctor.
