St. John’s Red Storm
JaKarr Sampson scored 14 of his 17 points in the first half and St. John’s handed No. 20 Notre Dame its second straight loss, 67-63 at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.
Moe Harkless had 22 points and nine rebounds to lead St. John’s to a 61-58 victory over No. 20 Notre Dame on Saturday, the Red Storm’s first win over a ranked team in 11 games this season.
D’Angelo Harrison scored a game-high 29 points, including seven 3-pointers, as St. John’s defeated DePaul 87-81 on Wednesday night.
DePaul is not proud to be named the Big East’s worst team, but a weak 22 point first half didn’t prove that. St. John’s stormed past the Blue Demons to add yet another loss to their suffering record.
The last time they played each other, Notre Dame dominated St. John’s. The Red Storm turned that around Sunday, defeating the Irish 72-54.
