Shortly before 6:30 p.m., a 23-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting in the South Side Auburn-Gresham neighborhood. He was in the 900 block of West 83rd Street when a van drove by and multiple males inside fired at him.
The three were in a vehicle in the 1600 block of South St. Louis Avenue at 3:07 p.m. when three male shooters fired in their direction, police said. The shooters then left the scene.
