Swine Flu Bandit
Prosecutors say an alleged serial bank robber was on leave from a Seattle bank. His father’s in prison for murder and his mother’s a cop.
The 28-year-old suspect, who hit Chicago banks wearing a surgical mask, was apprehended Wednesday outside a South Loop branch.
The “Swine Flu Bandit” bank robber, who is now believed responsible for at least 10 bank robberies in the Chicago area, has hit four banks since last Thursday, according to the Chicago FBI office.
