The most recent fatal shooting occurred about 5:20 a.m. in the South Shore neighborhood. Officers found an unresponsive, 41-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle in the 6700 block of South East End Avenue.
The man, 27, had just exited a vehicle in the 5300 block of South Talman Avenue when a gunman approached on foot and fired at him about 2:50 a.m.
