Philippines Diplomat: ‘We Need Superheroes’ In Wake Of Typhoon

The ranking diplomat for the Philippines in the Midwest estimated rebuilding will take two years after a typhoon ravaged the Pacific island nation, and he called for cash donations to help victims right away.

It started out as a simple idea over breakfast. In a matter of hours, there was a room full of donations at the Rizal Center, 1332 W. Irving Park Road in Chicago.
