A woman was ejected from a United Express flight from Salt Lake City to Chicago last week, after angrily refusing to put her dog in a pet carrier, after it allegedly snapped at the flight crew.

United Flight 1676 departed O’Hare for Fort Myers shortly before 8 a.m. A CBS reporter who was on the flight said, 10 to 15 minutes after the flight took off, the pilot informed passengers they were turning around, because the plane struck birds at the end of the runway.

Police said 31-year-old Adam Kealing, of Austin, was on board United flight 5587, bound for Dayton, Ohio, around 7:40 p.m., when he drunkenly refused a flight attendant’s instructions to turn off his cell phone. Keeling then allegedly punched a fellow passenger.
