The robberies happened in December and January, where two men approach a person from different directions before knocking them down or battering them, according to a statement from Chicago Police. Two of the robberies occurred near the CTA Argyle Red Line station, police said.

Man Charged With Setting Wife On Fire

James Roberts, 66, and his wife, 60, got into an argument over money in a parking lot in the 4300 block of North Broadway on Sunday. The man, who is in a wheelchair, “became irate” and threw rubbing alcohol over the top of his wife’s head down her body, then set her body on fire with a lighter, according to a police report.
