A man was killed in a shooting in the West Garfield Park neighborhood Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The most recent fatal shooting was around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, when 36-year-old Kennyone Pendelton was shot several times in the 4600 block of West Jackson Boulevard, in the Austin neighborhood, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
The fatal shooting happened about 5 p.m. in the 4900 block of West End Avenue. Ronald Holliman, 18, and two men, ages 19 and 26, were outside when a group of males got out of a vehicle from an alley and fired multiple shots.
Juwan Williams, 18, of the 4000 block of Arthington Street, was outside with a group of friends about 6:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Polk Street when two other people walked up and one of them opened fire before they both ran away.
Police said Crystal Caffey stabbed her boyfriend during an argument about money in the 4000 block of West Maypole Avenue early Monday morning.
The 29-year-old man was found on the sidewalk about 2:50 a.m. in the 4000 block of West Maypole Avenue with what appeared to be a stab wound to the chest.
A 38-year-old man driving a van on a suspended license struck and killed a pedestrian Tuesday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.
