Family: Missing Western Springs College Student Found Safe In Colorado

A 20-year-old west suburban sophomore at the University of Colorado who went missing from his Boulder apartment for more than a week has returned, according to his family.

CBS 2’s Jim Williams reports Berry “Tyler” Allen’s parents, who live in Western Springs, dropped everything here and headed to Boulder, where Tyler attends the University of Colorado. His roommate reported him missing last week.

At 5:17 p.m., the 80-year-old woman driving southbound on Wolf Road turned eastbound onto the railroad tracks, and her vehicle got stuck, according to Western Springs Police Sgt. John Piest.
