Mayor Plans To Double Size Of Jones College Prep

A new building has been constructed, and is set to open next fall at 700 S. State St., but the mayor said the old building, at 606 S. State St., won’t be destroyed as originally planned.


The old William Jones College Preparatory High School is being replaced by a new building, and officials plan to tear down the old one when the new school is finished, but local residents want the old building to stay as a neighborhood high school.
