While Halloween is often associated with trick-or-treating and children's costumes, that doesn't necessarily count out adults when it comes to Halloween fun. Chicago has a number of annual Halloween parties to choose from, whether you're looking for a bar atmosphere or something more specialized. Take advantage of the many different venues and options in Chicago to make your Halloween extra special this year. There are three days to choose from in this Halloween-themed pub crawl. The October 26 date is from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m., October 31 is from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. and the third day is the Halloween Hangover Happy Hour on November 1. The Halloween Hangover pub crawl is from 5 p.m. to close. You have the option of purchasing individual tickets for each day at $10 or $20 for a three-day all-access ticket. This Halloween parade is set in the heart of the Lakeview area and is a free event. Pre-parade activities begin at 4:30 p.m. and there will be additional activities after the parade has finished its route. This annual event always draws in some great costumes, in and out of the parade. Enjoy this outdoor Halloween party that lends itself to the elements and embraces costumes that might be outside of the box. Afterwards, follow the crowd to one of the local bars in the Lakeview neighborhood to keep the party going.

Located in the River North area of Chicago, this party is open to the general public for those 21 years of age and older. There is no admission fee and will be held October 26th from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. There will be a costume contest, Halloween drink specials, a dueling piano show and a chance to win up to $2,000 in cash and prizes. The final details for this year's Halloween festivities have yet to be announced, but the party will be very much like last year's event. The Nightmare on Wells Street event worked in collaboration with the Public House of Horrors event. Public House is the sister bar for Bull & Bear and is considered an upscale pub house, while Bull & Bear is considered an upscale sports bar. The events are generally held the Saturday before Halloween, require tickets for entrance and feature wristband options for discounted drink prices and express entry for both venues.

The Anita Dee II is a private yacht, situated at Navy Pier in Chicago. This yacht is able to be rented out for private parties at a charter price of $2,250 per hour with a minimum of three hours and can hold from 100 to 345 people onboard. Ticketed events are often held on the Anita Dee II to help celebrate Halloween. Two years ago, there was the Halloween Costume Party and last year it held the Halloween Goes Hollywood Party. This year's event has yet to be announced but it will no doubt be the best floating Halloween party in Chicago.
