Best Haircuts For Kids In Chicago

Whether it’s his first haircut or her tenth haircut, making your son or daughter sit still for a half hour can be treacherous. And finding a place that can do both can be even harder.

These places top the list for being able to give a great cut and keep your child entertained.

JRH Kids Cuts

If you’re looking for a no frills place and just the minimum to keep your child entertained, then this place is for you. Kids sit in a red car chair or a horse while they get their haircut. If you happen to be waiting, there are plenty of toys to play with and keep your kids busy while they wait for a cut.

JRH Kids Cuts is a nice neighborhood salon with accessible parking.

Snippet’s Mini-Cuts

If a little bit more bedazzle is your style then Snippet’s could be your cup of tea. Kids are entertained by video monitors featuring current children’s movies and video games. They also offer the Mini-Cut which features a consultation, a shampoo if you desire, the cut and the finish. If you’re bringing your child for the special first haircut they offer the First Cut Package. Snippet’s makes the event special by offering a keepsake box for the hair and a special bottle of their shampoo.

Kidsnips

Located in Lincoln Park, Kidsnips entertains and gets the job done. Kids are occupied by children’s movies while they get their haircut. If you’re going for your child’s first haircut, you’ll get a certificate marking the momentous event, a picture with the new haircut and the locks of hair in a bag to take home. Kids get to take home a prize and a balloon at the end. They also sell toys there, which might tempt your kids, but could be great to have a neighborhood toy store.
