Best Places To Sing Karaoke In Chicago

So... you think you can sing? Instead of belting out your favorite tunes in the shower, or singing into your remote control, grab a REAL mic and showcase your inner diva at 6 of our favorite karaoke spots around Chicago (in no particular order):

Blue Frog Bar & Grill

676 N. LaSalle Dr., Chicago
(312) 943-8900

This River North, blink-and-you'll-miss it, cozy spot has something you normally would never find in Chicago: FREE PARKING! They serve cheap eats and canned beer. Sing your hearts out after 10 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays, except on Fridays, when karaoke starts at 9 p.m. Don't feel like singing? Grab a board game and listen to others make fools of themselves, while playing Jenga or Trivial Pursuit.

Make sure you have cash before you step inside this Wicker Park dive bar. They don't accept credit cards. Sing at 10 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. You'll find regulars at this neighborhood bar, as well as groups who are trying karaoke for the first time. Get there early on weekends, or you'll be waiting for a long time to sing!

This Irving Park dive bar isn't your typical run-of-the-mill karaoke joint. It's tiny, there is no stage and you may not find a place to sit. But on Saturday nights, from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., belt out your favorite tunes and the eclectic crowd will make you feel like a superstar! The karaoke MC, Chad, has a great list of songs, including top current hits, and will even sing background for you if you need a boost! Did we mention drinks are insanely cheap?
