While the Chicago Pride Parade doesn’t kick off until Sunday, June 24, get ready to party all weekend long at bars and concerts throughout the city. From nightclubs to country and western bars, Chicago has a number of great late-night events to keep the party atmosphere going long after the parade is finished. The following clubs and concerts are must-sees during Pride weekend. Just don’t forget your valid ID when hitting these hotspots.

Back Lot Bash, an outdoor live music and entertainment festival, has been a highly anticipated annual event for lesbians around the country since its inception 2004. Featuring a range of performers including Chely Wright, C-Factor, Daphne Willis, and Hairbanger’s Ball, Back Lot Bash offers late-night entertainment throughout Pride weekend.  Back Lot Bash’s Comedy Kickoff on Thursday, June 21, will be at Mayne Stage (1328 W. Morse Ave., Chicago) featuring Bridget McManus, Ever Mainard and Fortune Feimster. Friday is acoustic evening, Saturday hosts an all-day bash with the band Dot Dot Dot and Sunday closes out the weekend with the Pride Day Bash, which features great live music.

Celebrate Pride weekend at Berlin Nightclub, the “neighborhood dance bar of the future,” with theme nights and fun. Berlin Nightclub is considered one of the top clubs in Chicago, making this Wrigleyville fixture a must-see during Pride weekend. Friday features a live performance by Shuteye at 10:30 p.m. while Saturday is a twisted dance party with tunes from DJ Chester until 5 a.m., and Sunday is Block Rockin’ 90s Night.

If you want an after after-party, consider Charlie’s Chicago. Located in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, Charlie’s is open until the early morning hours every day and features a country-western theme. It is the only bar in the neighborhood to feature a cryogenic system, where freezing liquid nitrogen fog is blasted into the air over the dance floor and instantly cools down dancers.
