As far as pies go, no pie is more Chicagoan than deep-dish pizza.

And what better way to celebrate Pi Day, or as I call it, 3.14159265359 Day, than indulging in Chicago's best (pizza) pie!

There is of course Giordano's, considered by many as the best of the best. They are, at the very least, one of the most popular. They've got the sauciest, the doughiest, the cheesiest pizza, hands down. You'll feel sick after eating there – ready to burst or vomit – but that's a good thing.

Art of Pizza is another choice, if you prefer something more akin to a hole in the wall. With enough room to pretty much just stand, show up one afternoon and have a quick bite (that's right, you can buy deep dish by the slice there).

Then there's Pequod's, what many deem the "hipster" choice. They're far from the new kids on the block though. In 2011, the Food Network proclaimed that Pequod's produced the best pizza in Illinois. If you want your pan pizza literally served in a giant, heavy pan, then this is the place to go.

Enjoy your Pi Day!
