Chicago Concerts To Look Forward To In 2014

As a major city in the U.S., big name artists are constantly traveling through the Windy City. But with tour plans often only once every couple of years in North America, you never know when you might see you favorite performer next. This spring, check out these big names, whether you're looking for a bit of country or a bit of rock 'n roll.

Timberlake is, hands down, one of the hottest tickets of the 2014 season, with tickets for 2014 already starting to sell out around the country. With the pop star's 20/20 Experience World Tour, he'll showcase his star talent as he both performs and sings some of his fans' most favorite hits, along with songs from his latest 2013 album. Since he's a performer just as much as he's a singer, he's sure to put on a memorable show. Tickets range from $49.50 to $175 per person.

Keith Urban's Light the Fuse Tour began in 2013, but the four-time Grammy Award-winning singer will still be burning bright when he stops in Chicago for a one-night-only performance. While the country singer will play songs from his most recent album, "Fuse," he'll also play other classics like "Long Hot Summer."

Before the Celtic punk band known as the Dropkick Murphys finishes off its tour in the group's hometown of Boston, it will be passing through Chicago for its St. Patrick's Day Tour. Special guests Lucero and Skinny Lister will also be joining Dropkick Murphys on the road. Tickets range from $41 to $119.

This 2014 tour, starting in February and ending in March, marks the first time these two legends will tour together. While both Sting and Paul Simon will have solo performances, they'll also come together on stage to sing some duets, hence the tour's name "On Stage Together." Show tickets range from $45 to $250.

Known as a pop violinist around the world, German artist David Garrett's sound is at once soulful and inspiring. On this Crossover Tour, he'll play a multitude of songs, including some from his most recent album, "Garrett vs. Paganini," which was inspired by a movie he worked on called "The Devil's Violinist." Ticket prices range from $38.50 to $55.50.
