We got our first glimpse of the term “cougar” in the 1967 movie “The Graduate”, starring Anne Bancroft as the red hot Mrs. Robinson. Benjamin Braddock, who is played by Dustin Hoffman, has an affair with his father’s business partner’s wife, who is much older and experienced. More recently, the term cougar has become much more mainstream then ever with the hit TV show, “Cougar Town” starring Courtney Cox.

Today, this music venue still has a 1940’s theme that hosts jazz and swing acts from all reaches of the earth.
