Family Friendly New Year's Eve Guide To Chicago

Not everyone can stay awake all the way until midnight, but everyone likes to have fun on New Year's Eve! These family-friendly New Year's Eve events let you ring in the New Year a little early, with a little less noise and adult festivities, while maximizing the excitement.

Saturday, December 31st
6:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m.

Navy Pier presents a spectacular all-ages showcase of hip-hop dance, live music, and more at the Winter WonderStage. The celebration culminates with a special 8:15 p.m. Family Fireworks show outside on Dock Street.

Zoo Years Eve

Saturday, December 31st
6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Rock in the "Zoo Year 2012" with your friends at Brookfield Zoo! There will be music, games, party favors, and an early countdown at 8:00 p.m. This event is free with paid zoo admission. Parking is additional.

This New Year's Eve party will be a blast for the whole family. Enjoy the buffet and unlimited attractions such as Go-Karts, Mini Golf, Laser Tag, Krazy Kars, Sir Bounce's Inflatables, & Kids Quest Softplay. And it's just not a New Year's Eve party without favors, sparkling juice toast, games & prizes, countdown celebration and balloon drop. Advance reservations are required. Prices and times to be announced.
