For a Friday fish fry on the go, look no further than Chicago’s classic fish market; Hagen’s Shrimp & Fish. This local staple has been serving fresh fish in Chicago for over 60 years. Stop in and pick up your choice of fresh fish delivered daily to cook at home or order off their extensive carry-out menu. Carry out fish dinners range from $8.40-$10.60 depending on your choice of fish. Delicious fried shrimp is also served by the pound. I would also highly recommend a side of cheese curds, crab cakes and hushpuppies!

The Irish American Heritage Center’s Fish Fry every Friday during Lent is THE best! $12 all you can eat and is just like your favorite pub’s fish & chips.

Hard to find but worth the quest. For the best fish on the south side try Hegewisch! Club 81 too isn’t much to look at but if you can get over that you will find the best kept secret of the south suburbs. just think of it as an indoor picnik next to Wolf Lake. Heavenly food!
