Despite Bribery Arrest, Rep. Smith Wins Primary Vs. Swiss
In what might be the strangest race in Illinois on Tuesday, State Rep. Derrick Smith easily defeated challenger Tom Swiss in the 10th District, despite Smith's arrest last week on a bribery charge. Swiss, a former director of the Cook County Republican Party, was running as a Democrat. CBS 2's Kristyn Hartman reports.
