CPS To Hire 477 Teachers For Longer Day; Both Sides Call It 'Win-Win'
In an deal both sides said is a "win-win" for the Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Teachers Union, the city will hire 477 new teachers to teach the extra classes that will fill out the longer school day, meaning teachers won't have to work longer to accomplish the goal.
