Worst Of Snow Storm Misses City, But Drops Up To 8 Inches In North Suburbs

A winter storm that moved through the area Thursday largely missed the city, leaving only about an inch in Chicago, but it hit harder in the northern suburbs, dumping up to eight inches in some areas.
