Some Parents Opt To Drive Kids To School Over Walking Safe Passage Routes
Though Safe Passage routes have been set up at 53 new schools this year, for the nearly 13,000 kids being transferred to new schools from ones that have been closed, many parents felt safer driving their kids to the first day of class on Monday, rather than walking the designated routes.
