Noah Says Bulls Aren't Afraid Of Heat

No question that the Bulls would have been prohibitive favorites to win the East if Lebron James had signed with them. James along with Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade will form a heck of a trio even if they are surrounded by 9 peanut vendors but Joakim Noah says the Bulls can still beat them.

We caught up with Noah following last night's announcement and Noah was almost defiant in saying that the Bulls currently constituted are a better team then Miami. Noah pointed out that the Bulls have four starters to the Heat's three and that management will find a couple of shooters. Noah also correctly said that Carlos Boozer's signing adds muscle to the Bull's roster and that is another advantage over the Heat.

No management from the Bulls spoke to James'  announcement last night as that will come on Friday when Boozer is officially unveiled. There had to be some disappointment in him going to Miami but they knew they did the best they could. They presented a good case to James last Saturday and offered him the best chance to win, and win for a long time. But in the end this looked like a pre-ordained decision by James, Wade and Bosh that was hatched a long time ago. And maybe worse yet the rumor is that those three want Chris Paul to join them when he becomes a free agent. But Noah is not fazed and you have to love his spirit.
