Man Tries To Lure Girls On Northwest Side
CHICAGO (CBS) - Police are looking for a man who tried to lure two young girls into his car, as they walked home from a Far Northwest Side school earlier this week.
The two girls, ages 8 and 11, were walking home from school in the 7200 block of West Higgins Avenue around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday. A man in a four-door gray vehicle pulled up next to them and asked if they wanted a ride, a community alert from Grand Central Area police detectives said.
The girls immediately ran away.
The man is described as a bald white man between 40 and 44 years old with hazel eyes and a light complexion, the alert said. A more detailed description was unavailable.
