Stunt Car Slams Cop Car On Transformers Set

(WBBM) - There's been another accident on the set of Transformers 3.  This time, it happened in Washington, D.C.

On the streets of the capital, producers were filming a scene for Transformers 3, which had been shooting over the summer in Chicago.

The yellow Chevrolet Camaro known in the Transformers films as Bumblebee was racing toward an intersection when, suddenly, a Washington D.C. police SUV with its sirens blaring, came tearing through.

The officer was on his way to check out a call of a suspicious package. Neither he nor the stunt driver was seriously hurt.

This is the latest accident involving the movie shoot.

While Transformers 3 was filming in the Chicago area last month, an extra was seriously injured when a cable towing a stunt car came loose, slicing through her car window and hitting her in the head.

She's suing Paramount. Her lawyer says she's still unable to speak and is paralyzed on one side.
