Standoff Reported In South Austin
CHICAGO (STMW) - A person has surrendered, ending a barricade situation in the South Austin neighborhood early Tuesday.
The Hostage, Barricade and Terrorism Unit situation was called at 1 a.m., to a home in the 4900 W. Walton St., police News Affairs officer Hector Alfaro said.
A person surrendered to police at 2:45 p.m., ending barricade situation without any injuries, Alfaro said.
It is unclear if there were any hostages, Alfaro said.
