Security Up At Glenbard South H.S.

GLEN ELLYN, Ill. (CBS) -- Glenbard South High School is tightening security Thursday morning, after a threat inside a school bathroom.

The school was placed on "soft lockdown" Wednesday, after officials discovered a threat to the building that mentioned Friday, Dec. 10.

Police brought in a bomb-sniffing dog to search the gym, field house and hallways at the school.

Principal Terri Hanrahan and Glen Ellyn police said the threat was not credible, but they are increasing security anyway.

This is the second threat against the school in just the past year.
