Girl, 15, Found After Disappearing

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 15-year-old girl has been found safe after disappearing on the city's South Side.
Gabrielle "Gabby" Murphy, 15, had not been seen since Sunday, in the in the area of 5100 S. Michigan Ave., according to a missing persons alert from Wentworth Area detectives. But she was found safe Monday morning.
Police had been especially concerned because Murphy has Type 1 diabetes and does not have her medication. In Type 1 diabetes, the pancreas does not produce insulin, and patients must take insulin to survive.
