LAKE FOREST, Ill. (CBS) — A limited number of Bears playoff tickets are going on sale this coming Wednesday.

The Bears are hosting their first playoff game on Jan. 16. Tickets will go on sale only for the first home game.

A second sale date will be announced if the Bears end up hosting the NFC Championship game.

Playoff game ticket sales are handled exclusively through Ticketmaster, via phone and Internet. Fans can charge by phone at (800) 745-3000 or at the Ticketmaster website.

Tickets are priced at $107 to $559, plus a per-ticket customer convenience charge. The limit is four tickets per customer or billing address.

Wheelchair seating is also available through Ticketmaster. If wheelchair seats sell out on Ticketmaster, the Bears say patrons should buy a regular seat and arrange with the team for an exchange.

In the four years’ since the Bears went to the Super Bowl, tickets have risen about 11 percent on the low end and about 33 percent on the high end. In 2006, tickets were priced between $95 and $375 for the first playoff home game.
