With their win over the Seattle Seahawks, the Chicago Bears will move on to play for the NFC Championship and a trip to the Super Bowl.

To make a big game even bigger, the NFC Championship will pit the Bears against their long time rival, the Green Bay Packers.

The Bears and Packers have played each other 181 times, next Sunday will mark the 182nd meeting and only their second postseason matchup ever.

The first postseason game took place on December 14, 1941. The Bears won that game 33-14 and went on to beat the New York Giants for the NFL Championship the following week.

This postseason also marks the fourth time, in the history of the NFL, that the Bears and Packers have been in the playoffs at the same time.  The other three times were in 1941, 1994 and 2001.
